In most cases we do this by providing them with a structural design service which includes providing the Client with building structural calculations and structural details which they submit to their local building standards authority attached to the building warrant drawings and application. Where Clients wish to submit SER certificate of design, we have a number of approved bodies and their approved certifiers with whom we liaise and assist our Clients to be issued with SER certificate of design, issued by others. We provide the necessary advice and all support in liaising with the relevant approved certifier and approved body. Structural Inspections and Advice We have skills to carry out a whole range of bridge inspections such as general inspections, principal inspections and special inspections. We also advise on preparation of refurbishment schemes such as concrete repairs, strengthening and bridge maintenance. We undertake building structural inspections following fire damage, flooding and review alterations carried out without engineering assistance. We have undertaken structural inspection, for clients, on existing free-standing and other forms of retaining walls, support frames for industrial cranes and gantries. Where re-medial works are recommended, we design for our Clients suitable repair solutions and we can provide project management services including works supervision on behalf of our Clients.
