Loughdoo Aggregates (LA) began trading in 1991 with just three part-time employees. Since then, the company has grown steadily and now employs 25 people. We supply sand, gravel, and decorative stone. Our quarry is highly regarded for its durable stone, and our sand is in high demand in the precast concrete industry. We've built a reputation for providing excellent products with fast and efficient customer service. As our business expanded, we acquired more land for quarrying. In 2005, we opened a new quarry and installed a new screening system and CDE treatment plant. In 2006, we ventured into the concrete business and began making blocks later that year. After a slow start, we saw an increase in trade and realized that our commitment to supplying quality products at competitive prices was paying off. We then applied for and received the highly sought-after "quality scheme for ready mixed concrete" award in 2007, a testament to the quality of our concrete. With the acquisition of more land for quarrying in 2008, we look forward to continuing to supply aggregates and concrete to our loyal customers for many years to come. Loughdoo Aggregates also supplies golf courses and playing fields throughout Ireland with aggregates for drainage, enhancing these grounds. Some notable clients include Dungannon Golf Club, Bundoran Club, Sligo racecourse, and the new Lough Erne Golf Club, designed by renowned golfer Nick Faldo. We've also supplied numerous horse arenas throughout Ireland with various grades of sand. Our product range includes ready mixed concrete, screed blocks and bricks, washed sand and gravel supplies, decorative stone and coloured pebbles for driveways and patios, and all grades of sand for the sports industry. We can quickly produce production ready 2D drawings that clearly communicate how the design should be manufactured. LASER CUTTING KME have invested in state of the art laser cutting technology to produce consistently accurate components across a wide range of materials and sheet thickness. We can supply cut only kits or carry out additional operations. DE-BURRING KME have invested in surface finishing equipment for customers who require high standards of material preparation prior to painting. We can offer either round bowl vibratory finishing or a wet system for high end de-burring and finishing. CNC MACHINING KME are able to provide a comprehensive machining service. We have invested in the latest high precision CNC machines and skilled operators with years of experience. Our machine shop is capable of producing both low and high volume components using a wide range of materials. FOLDING KME have a range of highly accurate press brakes ranging in size from a compact 1m 36T machine up to a high speed 4m 220T machine. We also stock an extensive range of tooling in our tooling library which includes Rolla-vee dies to eliminate product marking and hole distortion. FABRICATION KME offer a wide range of fabrication services ranging from one-off prototyping to large production batches. Our fabricators have a wealth of experience working with a wide variety of materials including mild steels, stainless steel and aluminium. ROBOTIC WELDING KME are very pleased to welcome the newest addition to the team, a new robotic MIG welding cell from Bauromat UK. The cell has the capacity to weld components up to 2130mm x 850mm x 500mm and a maxium part weight of 1000kg per side. SURFACE FINISHING KME are able to offer a wide range of surface finishing services including powder coating, wet painting, galvanising, anodising and plating through our approved partners.
