Inline Mudjacking has been serving Edmonton and Fort McMurray since 1999. We offer cost-effective concrete lifting solutions for 10% of the replacement cost. Our process involves drilling holes, pumping a water-resistant clay/silt slurry, and patching the holes with a rapid-set mortar. While patches may be visible on standard concrete, they will fade over time. On exposed aggregate concrete, stones are mixed into the patches, making them unnoticeable.
Mudjacking is effective for raising, leveling, filling voids, and establishing proper drainage on driveways, sidewalks, patios, garage floors, and warehouses. It addresses the issue of concrete settling common in Edmonton and northern Alberta due to clay-based subsoils.
We offer a 3-year written warranty on any concrete that settles more than an inch after lifting. Mudjacking provides physical support to hollow or sagging concrete, reducing the risk of cracking and foundation damage.
If your concrete has settled, mudjacking is a more cost-effective solution than replacement.

Cost Effective Concrete Lifting for 10% of replacement cost
Typically lifting driveways cost between $800 and $1500 which will usually include the price to lift uneven sidewalks to the front steps. Lifting sidewalks and patios usually cost between $600 and $1300.
The process of mudjacking can be broken down into three primary steps: Drilling of holes, pumping a slurry through these holes, and patching. Inch and a half holes are drilled at a spacing of 2-3 feet either in a single line or a grid formation within the region that requires lifting. Then a highly water-resistant clay/silt slurry is pumped through the holes spreading under the concrete until the pressure increases so much as to lift the concrete. Mudjacking is observably effective at filling voids as it is common to see the slurry rise out of neighboring holes to the one being pumped into. Lastly, a specialized rapid-set mortar is used to patch the holes.
Yes, on standard concrete you will be able to see the patches, though over time they will fade and begin to blend in with the surrounding surface. On exposed aggregate concrete we mix stones into the patches rendering them unnoticeable.

Mudjacking reverses the effects of soft soil compression that is common in Edmonton and northern Alberta.
No, due to the soft nature of Alberta subsoils, sunken concrete is a consistent feature of our urban environment. Most settled concrete is still in very good condition and simply needs to be lifted and supported. Though the subsoil may remain soft, time is the most critical factor in seeing the settling effects subside. This is why we offer a 3 year written warranty on any concrete that has settled more than an inch after lifting.
As mentioned above, most settled concrete is still in very good condition. Mudjacking provides physical support to concrete that is hollow underneath, sagging and hanging off rebar tied to the foundations. Mudjacking reduces the risk of cracking on the concrete itself, foundation damage result
